Water and wastewater treatment system design
- Aquavarra Research provides specialist process and/or hydraulic design advisory services
to Consulting Engineers, specialist water industry Contractors, Local Authorities and water
companies.
Water and wastewater treatment validation
- Aquavarra Research provides a range of performance audit/validation services in respect
of water and wastewater treatment processes and systems e.g. measurement of the oxygenation
capacity and efficiency of the aeration systems used in activated sludge wastewater treatment
processes, etc.
R&D on water and wastewater treatment
- Work in this area includes the development of new/improved processes for the treatment of
waters and wastewaters, including the production of drinking water and the treatment of
municipal and industrial wastewaters. In addition to commissioned R&D work,Aquavarra Research
also carries out its own independent research, the findings of which are made available in the
Publications section of this website.
Analysis and control of waterhammer in pump/rising main systems
- Aquavarra Research has extensive experience in the field of water and wastewater pumping,
including the spedialist area of waterhammer analysis and control, for which a comprehensive
suite of analytical computer software has been developed.
